Importing Data

BaseEAM has the importing tool to help you rapidly setup the initial data (master data).

You can import data for the following entities in the order (click to download the template):

1. ValueItem
2. UnitOfMeasure
3. Company
4. ItemGroup
5. Item
6. Meter
7. Location
8. Asset
9. Store

How to use the Importing tool

1. On the menu, click System → Import
2. Add a new Import Profile
   
   
   
   
3. Fill out applicable data fields. Then click Save
   
   
   
   
4. Click Run Now to start importing.
   
   
   
   
5. Click View Log File to view the information of the importing process.
   
   
   

NOTE: The importing process run in background, so make sure you have BaseEAM.BackgroundService installed and run.
